Early Life
Cameron Stewart is an artist and storyboard artist who has worked on some of the most popular animated series for children, including Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, and Adventure Time. He is also a comics artist, and his work has been featured in Image Comics’ The Walking Dead, Spawn, and Batman. Stewart was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1988. When he was just four years old, his family moved to Texas.
He started drawing at an early age and soon began making comics with friends. Stewart’s passion for art led him to attend the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2006. After graduating from SVA, he worked as a storyboard artist on several children’s shows before landing his first comics project with Image Comics’ The Walking Dead in 2010. Stewart’s work on the comic book helped make the series one of Image Comics’ most successful franchises.
Work Life
In 2012, Stewart left Image Comics to work on Adventure Time with Pendleton Ward at Cartoon Network Studios. The show became one of Cartoon Network’s most popular programs and Stewart won two Emmy Awards for his work on it. Stewart returned to Image Comics in 2016 to pencil and ink the graphic novel adaptation of Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series. He also wrote and drew the “Next Men” series at DC Comics, pencilling and inking two issues directed by Guillermo del Toro. Stewart lives with his wife, artist Emma Rios, and their dog, Daisy.
Norman Partridge (born May 6, 1959) is an American comic book illustrator who has worked for Marvel Comics since the early 1980s. His earliest credits are a number of covers for CPL Publications’ Who’s Who. His first work for the industry was pencilling the stories in Marvel Fanfare magazine when he was just 16 years old.[1] A year later, he pencilled The Uncanny X-Men #252 (January 1982).
He began to draw more frequently for Marvel, eventually pencilling and inking the “Next Men” miniseries (1984) and the first half of The Incredible Hulk (1987). He also did some work on the Marvel Warbird series. In 1991, he was promoted to the full artist when he was assigned to draw the title Iron Man (issues #337–341).In 1993, Partridge left Marvel to create his own company, which produced several graphic novels and a few issues of a children’s comic called Mouse Guard before it folded.
